Hi everyone! Thanks for checking out The Silver Words. The Silver Words came into being as the .com version of a blog I worked on for about a year and a half called RealityLapse under WordPress.com. Because of this, you might see the terms RealityLapse, RL or improperly formatted code in my old posts. If you see this, please give me a heads up! I will be working on The Silver Words for the next few months so little things are likely over time. :) But for now, I HAVE A NEW BLOG, and I’m so happy that some amazing people could help me out with it’s release. Thanks so much to Nova, blogger extraordinaire and awesome tweep, and here’s what she had to say about TSW:
When Eli asked me to write her a post, I wasn’t really sure what to do. I mean, I’m still trying to figure things out for myself! I know how scary things can be moving to a new platform, getting a design, changing your name… or all three!
When I started blogging, I was known as… “Nova the Book Nerd.” Are you cringing? I am. And that’s not the worst! I had this terrible blog design that consisted of ugly colors and google stock images. It was terrible. Even worse, I thought I was all alone. I didn’t know blogging was a popular thing. Never did I think there would be an entire army of [crazy] fangirls who all just wanted to tell our own stories.
About a year later, I ditched the name and became “Musings of a Blogder.” Equally as cringe-worthy, aye? This featured a slightly better design, but still terrible. At this point, I started to have friends. Twitter was becoming less scary and more exciting. I found people who don’t blog anymore but I will never forget because they helped me out so much.
Finally! January 1st, 2013, I decided that it was time for change. I became “Out of Time” which is what I am now. Out of Time may sound simple in title but it means a lot. Just like Eli’s blog, a lot of care is placed in creating it. For me, I got a design [thank God! Because I can’t do design for anything] and it’s become a part of me.
So what’s the moral of the story? We’re all going to keep growing and changing. All we can do is take a breath and hope for the best. Eli, I hope you have a GREAT time with your new blog. It looks amazing and I’m so proud of you!
I’M SO GLAD YOU LIKE IT! Thanks to Nova for taking the time to write up this post and help me out with the blog. She’s awesome, so be sure to hit her blog button above or below and check out her blog or hit her up on Twitter!

Nova Lee Zaiden has spent five years in prison for hacking the Pentagon. She’s discovered top government secrets and the knowledge could kill her. Literally. She is now undercover in local high school in hopes of survival. Her plan is to finish high school without any extra attention. If all goes well, she’s leave unscathed. If not, and the people who want her dead find her, she and the cute boy who seems to like her will have to go on the run together. It doesn’t help that said boy is the son of the man who wants Nova dead. They’ll have to fight against all odds to expose dangerous secrets while fighting their fatal attraction. However, because nothing like that has happened yet, all she wants to do is read YA books and write about her fangirl feels.
