The Mondays Musts is a feature by Jessica @ Lovin’ los Libros! Every Monday, you post about your must read, must listen, and must watch.
I haven’t read all of the stories in here yet, but they’ve been so surprisingly insightful and relevant to me that I had to share a little piece of how I felt about it before my review.
There are authors in this anthology that I have a whole spectrum of feelings about. Some, I read their books and really disliked them. Some, I only saw as writing a particular genre (that isn’t realistic fiction). Some, I didn’t know at all.
There were a few authors mixed in there that I enjoyed books from, but my feeling towards this book was more neutral/negative than anything else. In short, I wasn’t expecting a whole lot.
So far, I’ve loved the stories in I See Reality, and it’s a must read for anyone who loves YA anthologies.
I found Jeff Bernat because of a friend a few weeks ago, and I’ve loved his music ever since. It’s so mellow, and every one is different in it’s own small way. I particularly love the beat to this one. If you like it, you should also check out Call You Mine.
I’ve always been an X-Men person, but the enormous negative response to the Apocalypse movie made me go watch Captain America: Civil War. I was pretty disappointed by Age of Ultron, but Civil War reminded me why I love Marvel. There were so many great action sequences, and the character development was stellar. I won’t go into all the details, because it gets really long, but Cap and Tony blew me away. The plot surprised me for the first time in 5 or 6 movies, and overall, I thought it was great.
