The Mondays Musts is a feature by Jessica @ Lovin’ los Libros! Every Monday, you post about your must read, must listen and must watch.
I know I said I would do a throwback review for this one when I highlighted it in WWW Wednesday, but long story short, I decided not to do discussion posts on Wednesdays and forgot about The Tragedy Paper.
Treat this as a mini-review.
The Tragedy Paper isn’t one of the best books I’ve ever read, but it may just be one of my favorites. Year after year, I come back to this book because it’s just that memorable. The story is strong in a quiet way. It only hits you after time has passed, and I can’t explain exactly what it is about it.
The whole story is centered around what tragedy is, and it helped spark my fascination with the topic. If I were to live in a book world, I would love to go to the school within this novel and write my own tragedy paper just to talk with the professor.
There are so many amazing things about this novel that I haven’t gotten the chance to truly appreciate enough times on the blog, and all I can say is that it is a must. 4.5 stars.
Lyrics are very important to me within songs, as a general rule, and I’ve always love It’s Raining by ZIA and Lee Hyun. The wording is so well done, and I especially love the way the lyric video just accentuates that.
This is a video from about about five months ago, but I wanted to share it in the spirit of the Olympics. Specifically, looking forward to the winter Olympics. I became a fan of Red Gerard after I saw this video at the 2016 Burton US Open, and I hope to see him competing in Pyeongchang in 2018. You can find out more about Red on his US Snowboarding profile.
If you did a Monday Musts, link it below and I’ll check it out!
