The Mondays Musts is a feature by Jessica @ Lovin’ los Libros! Every Monday, you post about your must read, must listen and must watch.
Every week, I pick my musts based on a certain theme. The theme for last week’s picks was high-energy!
Open Road Summer may very well be one of my favorite contemporary reads ever. It’s got a little bit of everything, from the colorful cover to the pinch of grittiness to the little bits of music to the amazing friendships. And I didn’t even get to the romance yet!
Seriously, this book has got it all, and it does it in a way that isn’t contrived or fake in any way. I read this on suggestion from a blogger friend, and it was one of the best reading choices I made that year.
No, I don’t think it’s one of those audience-spanning books, but it’s an amazing YA novel. If you’re interested in contemporary romance at all, I would recommend it to you.
I’m not a big fan of Nightcore, but I do enjoy it from time to time, and even though I love P!NK, this version of Sober trumps all others that I’ve heard.
Okay, throwback time. The truth is, I’ve loved Demi Lovato and the Jonas brothers together since Camp Rock released, especially Demi and Nick. Their friendships are so great, and I love their songs. Put them together with James Corden, and you’ve got a great carpool karaoke!
If you did a Monday Musts, link it below and I’ll check it out! Any guesses on what the theme was for this week’s picks? Comment your guess, and I’ll reveal the answer in next week’s post.
